This Is A Dark Day In My Sober Mind

This is a weird playlist. There are some songs on here that I would never choose to listen to.

Frankly, its most of this playlist.

While there are a handful of songs on here that I would consider bad, none are worse than Mumford and Sons' 'Little Lion Man', a song whose title I didn't know until I had to look it up this morning. When this song came out in 2009, I was not listening to the radio very often but I could not escape this song (or band) due to its popularity in my town's open mic circuit. It was pervasively ubiquitous (full disclosure, I had to look up both of those words). I can safely say that there are few songs I dislike more than 'Little Lion Man'. 'Its my life' by Bon Jovi is a close second (and is also featured on this playlist).

Yes, I know that Staind, POD, and weezer certainly are not the apex of thousands of years of musical evolution, but I also don't find them as offensive as Mumford and Sons. My dislike for M&S probably stems from my association of them with stuck up, open-mic idols who get pissed when people in the crowd, enjoying themselves (and the performance), want to sing-along.

EDIT: I got high and listened to this playlist. Turns out, the Mumford and Sons song is pretty cool.
